Females call each other bitches all the time, yet they don't want anyone outside of their friends calling them that either. Its a double standard type thing. I myself do it and I'll be happy to explain it to you.

I wore a sombrero that I had bought from mexico and alot of latinos got offended and kept asking me what was my purpose for wearing it. You are asain right Dama? Imagine me calling you jackie chan or jet lee claiming that you look exactly like one of them. If a black person said it, it would be more offensive than an Asian person saying it. No, it may not offend you, and no, it may be a different scenario, but you get what I'm trying to say, right?

Huh, to me I've always seen Nigger and nigga as meaning the same thing- not one being derogatory and the other being appropriate depending on who said it and when it was said.

To me, yeah, nigga is derogatory. Nigger/nigga has a certain degree of oppression- to me that's what it really means, is just a down and oppressed person. But when you say it all casual with your 'niggas' it's like, the person you're saying it to is oppressed and down WITH you- if that makes sense, it's like talking about somebody who knows your pain and knows your happiness and feels like you feel, no matter what the color of their skin is. ;0 You know what I mean, like you can have a brother or a friend that's chill and that you ride with, but they feel a different pain than you and have a different look on life- they're still with you, but a nigga of yours done what you done and feels your pain as well as your bliss. I'm not sure if that paragraph made any sense at all, but I tried at least.
