DoomWood PvP 1vs 1 map

It's cumming and so am I.

Coming next Friday: Doomwood Arena! Finally you can challenge your friends to 1 on 1 PvP battles!

There are so many things that can go wrong with this.
But at least they're updating PvP.

I think Doomwood Arena is going to be a separate map instead of replacing Bludrut Brawl.

That's what was implied when Bludrut Brawl was making its' return. Yet, what do you know- we PvP'ers got the short end the stick. What a surprise.

DoomWood Arena sounds like a God-awful idea to me. Just about every class would have to be redone to have a fair inter-class 1v1, AQW's PvP is just not built for 1v1s. Not to say that DoomWood Arena won't bring some fun, as there are some benefits to such a small arena, but I believe it will do more harm than good.

What I really don't understand is why the greatest PvP map to be implemented in AQW has been totally abandoned by the staff, Us Or Them.

I understand it's not built for 1 vs 1s, but I'm glad to be able to say they listened to us despite what's better or worse.

the arena should be no smaller than 3 rooms discounting safezones.

You know what I just thought of, that's an awful idea but totally something AE would do? Adding monsters to a 1v1 map . . . e_e . . . oh God. I can see it now.

NPC's aren't bad at all, they add another element to PvP.

Not gonna argue, but I don't think they're good for 1v1s, especially when one of the participants cannot, or doesn't know how to use them to their advantage and the other does.

Few questions. I know its coming Friday but is it this Friday coming or the Friday after? Also, will it come on the same release as the level cap increase or after? Did Cysero even specify? If not, what do you think?

You're expecting them not to fuck it up on us? If you haven't noticed yet we don't have Rolith who knows how to code, we have Dumoose who decided to add a fucked up dual-packet door system in DB and a retarded version of the single packet in BB.

I wonder how AE is gonna fuck this up.

PvP feature update AND doomwood themed 1vs1 arena? so then thats two things they are adding to PvP? or is it some feature thats needed for the 1vs1 arena to work for some reason?

I think it's two things they are adding. When i talked to josh, he said artix was going to add two things. One being the PvP arena and the other Josh said he was confused about? Maybe we'll get lucky and this update won't fail? I mean, its Artix. If it was Cysero making all this stuff i probably wouldn't bother logging in...
